Bandai Namco announced at Paris Games Week that Nier: Automata's 2B will come to Soulcalibur 6, though they did not reveal a release date. Included with 2B is a stage inspired by 11945 Earth, her own background music, and an alternate costume and weapon set. 2B will be included in the Season Pass alongside Tira, returning from Soulcalibur and 4, as well as two additional characters yet to be revealed. The Season Pass is available now for 29.99 USD. As Tira is available for purchase separately, one would expect to be able to buy 2B separately as well. There is no current release date for 2B's Soulcalibur outing, but one could expect to see her released soon.

2B's moveset in Soulcalibur 6 is largely inspired by her array of skills in Nier: Automata. By utilizing her two swords and her robot companion, stringing together flashy combos seems effortless. 2B's alternate costume is a call back to Kaine, one of your companions in the first Nier. Perhaps in response to wide fan demand, 2B's arrival in Soulcalibur 6 is nonetheless surprising.

Previously, Bandai Namco had partnered up with Nintendo to bring Link to Soulcalibur II's roster on the Gamecube, as well as including Spawn from the Spawn comics for the Xbox version and Heihachi Mishima from Tekken for the PS2 version. KOS-MOS from Xenosaga can be created in Soulcalibur III by using the character creator. Soul Caliber IV saw the highest-profile guest characters so far: three characters from Star Wars. Yoda, Darth Vader, and Galen Marek, from Star Wars: The Force Unleashed all made the trek into Bandai Namco's fighter. With appearances by Geralt of The Witcher fame and now 2B from Nier: Automata, Soul Caliber 6 looks to have the widest-ranging guest list yet.
