About Veerender Singh Jubbal
Veerender Singh Jubbal is a Sikh freelance journalist, critic, consultant, and reporter. Jubbal writes for a plethora of different publications with news, interviews, guides, essays, features, and reviews on the newest video games. Veerender's utmost passion of more than a decade is critiquing/analyzing alongside providing consultancy work with Sikhism, Sikh, turban representation, and more in a wide variety of different mediums.
Veerender loves to highlight/interview developers/creatives/creators, and their inner workings as to why they decided to add anything even though it may be seen as superfluous to an audience. Everything in a video game or form of art is there for a reason–no matter how minute it may seem in both a conscious and unconscious manner.
Media literacy and critical thinking skills are worthwhile; especially in a medium such as video games, so Jubbal urges folks that after "finishing a game" to let the experiences formed take time to dwell, mull over, and seek out what others thought or have written about said piece of art.
Jubbal has written for publications such as WIRED, PCGamesN, Eurogamer, IGN, GameSpot, Digital Trends, and more.
Veerender has also starred as the main focus in a documentary that has been accepted for Toronto Youth Shorts.
