Tim is a Staff Writer for TechRaptor and video games are almost as much a part of his life as breathing, if not more. He has a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the National University of Ireland, Galway, and has also studied Archaeology and Philosophy as accompanying Arts subjects. Though he hasn't formally studied music, it is a vital part of his experience within games, film or anything else with a soundtrack, and it remains an important part of his life, as he is a pianist, a baritone, and an aspiring violinist.
Tim loves everything fiction but has a particular soft spot for Fantasy that he can't explain, though it usually manifests itself as an explosively enthusiastic response to both swords and sorcery. He likes alliteration too! When he is not writing about video games, he can probably be found playing them instead on his PC, though you can also find him immersed in tabletop games, walking his three dogs, dabbling in creative writing, or analysing film with a passion that he would love to complement with a degree one day.
