About Keenan McCall

Keenan is a freelance video game journalist and writer who has been playing games for as long as he can remember. From the original Pong all the way up to modern technological marvels like Final Fantasy VII Remake, gaming has always drawn him in like nothing else, and he loves to help others discover the wonders the medium has to offer.

This resulted in the pursuit of a career in video game journalism, which has led to him getting bylines across a number of sites in the past five years. While he does currently share his time between covering games and studying to go into medicine, he's still eager to see and share what's next for the video game landscape.

He's especially passionate about connecting with different communities across the wider gaming ecosystem. Whether it's a group of modders out to fix a broken title with potential or seasoned veterans helping new players immerse themselves in a dauntingly large multiplayer community, he'll strive to shine a light on these oft overlooked stories so the wider world can experience them in all their glory.

When he's not gaming, Keenan can usually be found hiking or testing new cooking recipes.
