Wario in WarioWare: Get It Together

Announced at Nintendo’s E3 2021 Direct: the WarioWare: Get It Together release date has been confirmed for September 10, 2021. You can check out the new WarioWare trailer and get an idea of the different microgames that will be available in this Switch edition.

WarioWare: Get It Together has 2-Player Support

Most excitingly, WarioWare: Get It Together offers 2-player support and a wide variety of microgames to choose from. With the Nintendo Switch being one of the go-to consoles for local multiplayer games, the ability for 2-player simultaneous play will add more value to this game when it launches in the fall.

Following the general plot of previous WarioWare titles, Wario has founded a video game company that develops the microgames you play within WarioWare. Some of the microgames shown off at Nintendo's E3 conference include toothpaste squeezing, facemask removal, pigeon poop dodging, and more.

In WarioWare: Get It Together you can control Wario directly as a playable character throughout each microgame. Other classic WarioWare characters are also returning and make an appearance in the Get It Together announcement trailer. With the two-player mode, you are able to control them as well as in co-operative play. One other new aspect is that each character has different abilities, meaning they can handle the same microgame in different ways, providing more variety in play and approach to handle the challenges.

WarioWare: Get It Together releases exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on September 10, 2021. It is available now to preorder via the Switch eShop or Nintendo website.
