Games With Gold

Every month Microsoft offers up a set of four games for subscribers of Xbox Live Gold to get for free through their Games With Gold program. June is no different, and four more games are going to be available for consumers.

Two of the games are Xbox One games. First up is Goat Simulator, which will be available to download from June 1st until the 30th. This wacky sandbox physic screw-around game lets players take the role of a goat and headbutt their way through a city. Along the way they'll discover glitches, rack up points, and earn new unlockables. You can read our review of Goat Simulator here. The second Xbox One game is Ubisoft's racing RPG The Crew, which will be available from June 16th until July 15th. In The Crew you can travel all across America, racing gangs in an effort to get revenge against the guy who killed your brother.

There will also be two Xbox 360 games available. The first, available from June 1st until June 15th, is Super Meat Boy. This 2D pixel perfect platformer has you jumping and sliding through courses, requiring some insane precision and speed, yet not making failure as frustrating as other games sometimes do. The other Xbox 360 game is X-Com: Enemy Unknown, which will be available from June 16th until June 30th. This strategy game, and reboot of the classic X-Com series, sees you making tactical decisions in turn based battles to keep aliens from taking over the Earth. It should be noted that both of these games will be backwards compatible with the Xbox One.

While all these new games are going up, this also means it's your last chance to grab two games. Xbox One game Defense Grid 2 and Xbox 360 game Peggle will both no longer be available at the start of the new month.

How do you feel about these four games? A good month for Games With Gold? Not interested in any of them? Let us know in the comments!
