20th Anniversary PS4

If you want to be one of the lucky 12,300 to get your hands on the PS1 styled 20th anniversary PS4, you'll have to be quick, they will not last long.

If you're unsure of what the heck I'm talking about, the above video may clear up some things. Long story short, it's a PS4 in classic PS1 Gray and old colourful logos! It's not everyone's cup of tea, but it's certainly very fitting for their 20th anniversary. I'd imagine collectors are salivating as I type this, even at the $499 (USD) price tag.

Sony will be tweeting a link to the preorder page very shortly, so make sure to look out for that on their official PlayStation Twitter. According to Sony, it will be available from the online Sony store, but there's no information regarding which countries they will ship to yet. I hope everywhere, but with such limited stock, you better act quick. What do you think of the 20th anniversary PS4? Is it a waste of money? Super cool but god I'm poor? Let me know in the comments! Update: Looks like attendees at the PlayStation experience show in Las Vegas are getting somewhat preferential treatment. If you want one of these PS4's, you need to glue yourself to Twitter right now!

Update 2: No word for about 40 minutes now. They are certainly drawing this out. Keep refreshing Twitter!

Update 3: Pre-order link is out: http://t.co/uO1H004bFv Go go go!

Update 4: Well I found out the hard way that they don't ship to Australia. Sorry fellow aussies.

Update 5: And they are already gone! That was crazy quick!

Update 6: It seems for some people it is saying in stock, and others out of stock. If you have one in your cart but can't get past checkout, I recommend you keep trying.

Update 7: Getting reports of order cancellations due to the massive server load. Good luck to all who pre-ordered!
