Star Wars: Uprising, which is being created by Kabam and in collaboration with Disney and Lucasfilm, is a new game coming to your mobile devices - the first set to take place after the events of Return of the Jedi and before The Force Awakens. Star Wars Uprising will be a Role Playing Game set for iOS and Android devices in the near future, is available for pre-registration with the beta to be rolled out in the coming weeks.

Update: Unfortunatley, Star Wars: Uprising was Shut down on November 17, 2016. This left many of the plot points with little-to-no ending for players.

The setting for Star Wars: Uprising falls in the Anoat Sector, which includes Hoth and Cloud City, and will set place following the events of the Battle of Endor and the death of Emperor Palpatine.
Players will have a wide range (hundreds we're told) of abilities as well as collect iconic Start Wars great to create their own heroes, with the ability to play as a Smuggler, Bounty Hunter, Rebel Guerilla, Diplomat, Gambler, or create a class all their own!
Players will be able to create their own unique character to go on missions and build up their gear and skills, and put together a crew and cartel in order to join in on the sector-wide battles that will dictate the future of Star Wars: Uprising's in-game Universe.
On top of that, if you want to play with friends, you'll also be able to play real-time co-op with them in the fight against the Empire.
