Predicting E3 2015 – Square Enix

E3 2015 SQUAREENIX

Everybody wants their own conference this year at E3 2015, and Square Enix didn't want to be left out. Seeing as this is their first year, we don't have a lot to base it off of other than past announcements made during other conferences. However, as the purpose of this is to be speculative, I would wager that Square Enix has something interesting to announce at their first conference dedicated wholly to themselves.

The most obvious thing that Square Enix will show off is Final Fantasy XV. But they've said they aren't going to. They have a lot of stuff out there on the game already, including a recent update to the demo, so it's a bit surprising they won't have anything at E3 2015. However, that may not be the case and there will be at least some mention of it I'd imagine. Though, they may be waiting for the D23 Expo in Japan in November.

Which brings me to Kingdom Hearts III. Kingdom Hearts III (along with FFXV funnily enough) were not at E3 last year either. Though, they were at E3 2013. Skipping two years would be a bit odd, especially considering Square Enix now has a conference completely dedicated to themselves. However, Tetsuy Nomura has already said to expect a lot of information about Kingdom Hearts III at the D23 Expo in November. That doesn't mean nothing will be shown at E3, but it may hint at the fact that much of it will be held until then. Is Star Wars or Marvel coming to Kingdom Hearts?

You can definitely expect something about Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, the sequel to Deus Ex: Human Revolution. This was announced back in April, so now would be the chance to let fans see something really cool about the game.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is another definite, considering Square Enix has said they expect to release it sometime this year. We will most definitely get a firm date on its release. Probably some kind of trailer to go along with it too.

They'd be crazy to not also show more of Just Cause 3 as well, which is in the same boat as Rise of the Tomb Raider. Just Cause 2 has been a massive hit on PC in particular, and we only just learned that it was being made back in April, also revealing its Holiday 2015 release date. Again, we'll probably get a more firm release date, or they'll tell us it's been delayed.

Bravely Second: End Layer will definitely be shown as well, as it was just released in Japan back in April. Square Enix has said to not expect it in the rest of the world until 2016, but maybe they'll show off to the rest of us and give us something more narrow than "sometime in 2016."

This would also be an opportune time to talk about Star Ocean 5. That was also announced back in 2015, so keeping with the trend, it would be safe to assume they plan to show something of it at E3. At least we can probably get a release window on it as we don't know anything as of yet.

And we can definitely see some unannounced titles, but who knows what those will be.

Here's a few maybes: Final Fantasy XII HD, a new Hitman, Final Fantasy Type-1? (Type-0 sequel, possibly after the unlocked teaser trailer), FF XIV's new expansion, Dragon Quest Heroes

Here's a few very unlikelys: New Sleeping Dogs, new Gex game, Legacy of Kain

Oh, and we can't forget Final Fantasy VII coming to PS4. Though, seeing as they have said it will basically be the PC version we all saw recently, I wouldn't expect too much. Unless Square Enix was lying to us and plan on releasing some amazing looking HD remake for the PS4. Not likely.

What would you like to see from Square Enix? Anything we missed?
