Now I know this isn't BREAKING NEWS, as many stars nowadays are coming out with video games, including Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, so it really should not be of any surprise that the country cooking star Paula Deen, who has once had her likeness carved out of butter, would create a game of her own.

Paula's game, which she named Recipe Quest, is mainly about going from point A to point B, and playing what looks like another Candy Crush clone before proceeding. The game consists of you matching 3 or more of a variety of ingredients no different than you would in Candy Crush and collecting them for future use. The game has 40 levels worth of puzzles, and new recipes and puzzles are said to be added to the app each week.

Guess what else it is? A Freemium game (of course), so despite the game being "free" to play, you can spend money to make the game run smoother. The price of in-app purchases goes from .99 cents to 19.99, and as of today the app has earned 3.5 stars on iTunes.

GGAAAAH! WHAT IS THAT THING!? BURN IT WITH FIRE!!!

The picture statement says it all, the in-game sprite of Paula is actually scarier than the creepily awkward video that she uses to promote the game, which comes complete with a lot of weird smiling while she pours ingredients into a bowl. The video has apparently garnered so much widespread support that ratings and comments are disabled.

“I am a gamer at heart and never leave my home without my iPad, Paula Deen’s Recipe Quest' is an incredible and one-of-a-kind game that will allow y’all to cook up a storm with me while solving exciting puzzles." Paula said in a press release

This game at the moment is only available on iTunes, but coming Monday it should be available for android devices as well.

What do you think of stars like Kim Kardashian and Paula Deen jumping on the game creation bandwagon? Kim's game has been a huge hit success and have earned millions in royalties, do you think Kanye and Paula's games might do just as well?
