Homefront The revolution

A new trailer for Homefront: The Revolution premiered at Gamescom 2015. The game had gone underground for a long while after the THQ collapse and other development issues.

Homefront is in the hands of Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios, which is staffed primarily by the former Crytek UK, themselves veterans of Free Radical. It is a first person shooter where you fight off against Korean invaders. Xbox One will get the exclusive multiplayer beta for Homefront this winter.

A gameplay trailer was then shown involving remote control car bombs and Crysis-style weapon customization. The game looks like it's really coming together despite its troubled past. Homefront: The Revolution is coming out on Xbox One, PS4, PC, Mac, and Linux in Spring of 2016. A playable demo of the game is on the show floor in Germany.
