EA Sports continues their ratings reveal for the top 5 players by position in Madden 16 and today they revealed the Offensive Linemen. The top 5 are as follows:

1. Marshal Yanda: 98 Overall - 99 Run Blocking, 90 Pass Blocking and 94 Strength. Yanda is considered by many NFL analysts as being the most dominate blocker in all of the NFL. Versatile in any position and bar none, the top run blocking lineman the league has seen in awhile.

2. Josh Sitton: 97 Overall - 96 Pass Blocking and 88 Run Blocking. Sitton has been a beast of a blocker for Green Bay and has been one of the most consistent linemen on a stellar offense.

3. Jason Peters: 96 Overall - 98 Strength, 97 Pass Blocking, and 96 Run Blocking.  A former college Tight End, Peters has become one of the quickest and strongest Tackles in the game today.

4. Nick Mangold: 95 Overall -  91 Strength, 93 Run Blocking and 90 Pass Blocking. One of the few bright spots for an underachieving Jets team.

5. Andrew Whitworth: 95 Overall - 94 Strength, 98 Pass Blocking, and 89 Run Blocking. Often overlooked, very few Tackles had as high of an efficiency rating as Whitworth did in 2014.

Honarable Mention -

Evan Mathis - 95 Overall

Joe Thomas - 95 Overall

Compared to last years list, which included Joe Thomas (98), Evan Mathis (97), Josh Sitton (97), Trent Williams (95), and Joe Staley (94), we have some big changes in this years crop of linemen. Mathis fell out of favor in Philadelphia and was ultimately released from the team and as of today, he has yet to find a new home. Both Staley and Williams continue to be consistent, unfortunately they were both on two of the worst offenses in the league. One HUGE question mark is how Joe Thomas was left off the list. Thomas has been the best Left Tackle (according to Pro Football Focus) this generation. Another stud Tackle left off the list is Cowboys Tackle Tyron Smith. Smith anchors the best line in football and is considered to be one of, if not the best Pass Blocking linemen in the league.

Yesterday we detailed the Top 5 Tight Ends, which included a lot of familiar faces. Stay tuned each day here at TechRaptor as we continue to breakdown, analyze, and dissect each position rating reveal by EA Sports for Madden 16!
