We might still not have an official announcement from the developers and the publishers, but that doesn't stop the Entertainment Software Rating Board from rating the upcoming Bioshock: The Collection. And now we know what will be in the collection as well!

A page on the official ESRB website divulges that Bioshock: The Collection will indeed bundle up all the games in the storied Bioshock franchise in one neat package. Soon you'll be able to visit the Ayn Rand-inspired Rapture as both Jack in Bioshock and the very first Big Daddy in Bioshock 2, and will be taking to the skies to bring someone the girl and wipe away the debt as you fight your way out of the quantum miracle that is Bioshock Infinite's city of Columbia.

When this collection will become available for purchase is anyone's guess at this point, but one could assume that the upcoming E3 expo might give us a release date, maybe even sooner. The page also tells us that the collection has been rated for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC's running Microsoft Windows (sorry Mac OS players!), making the franchise available to players on this generation of consoles. We will keep you posted!

Are you looking forward to Bioshock: The Collection? If you haven't played any of the games before would this be a good excuse for you to try it? Let us know in the comments!

Quick Take

I already have all of the games on PC but you'll have to wonder if this new collection will have something in the way of graphical updates and whatnot. If that's the case, then getting it again will be a no-brainer for me, personally. Even if that's not the case I think I'll get it anyway because the box art is something that would like pretty good on one of my shelves.

I've been playing games since I was just barely able to walk so I might as well write about them.
