Firaxis and 2K have the revealed that Civilization: Beyond Earth will be released on October the 24th this year. It will launch on the same day worldwide. They have also revealed a pre-order bonus that will give players the exoplanet map pack. This is six extra maps inspired by real exoplanets.
The game was announced earlier this year and will be the first Civ game since Civilization V released in 2010. Civilization: Beyond Earth will take the player to new planets in a sci-fi space turn based strategy game.
Firaxis also released an 8 minute walkthrough highlighting some of the games features.
