Dotemu has announced the Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes - Definitive Edition release date. The reworked version of the classic puzzle RPG is launching for PC, PS4, and Nintendo Switch on July 20th, and a demo will also be made available on Steam next week if you want to give it a try.

If you're unfamiliar with the Might & Magic series, this isn't the rather odd little battle royale game released by Ubisoft a few years ago, but instead the role-playing puzzler originally released on DS in 2009. The game is inspired by match puzzlers, strategy games, and classic RPGs, and has you fending off opponents by arranging troops, upgrading heroes and creatures, and making tactical decisions.

Alongside the release date announcement, Dotemu also revealed a new trailer that shows off Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes' unique approach to combat. Just looking at screenshots won't quite give you an idea of what this game looks like in motion, so it's worth taking a look at the trailer if you're unsure about what you're in for.

The Definitive Edition of Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes will feature revamped visuals and performance, as well as a "complete rebalance" of the game's multiplayer mode and a brand new boss, Euny the Archdruid, designed exclusively for multiplayer. In addition, the definitive edition also contains the I Am the Boss DLC, which lets you play as Clash of Heroes' four powerful bosses and take control of their forces.

Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes is scheduled to launch for PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch on July 20th. The demo for the game will debut as part of the Steam Next Fest and will be playable from June 19th, so make sure to give that a look if you like Clash of Heroes' art style but aren't quite sure about its gameplay.
